DFusion First turned on to Winterfylleth with The Mercian Sphere. The atmosphere of this bands music has clicked with me from the get go. Years passed and I looked them up on Bandcamp, and saw that they have been very active. The Divination of Antiquity has became my new favorite, from the anthem-esque Over Borderlands to the laid back Blackgaze vibed A Careworn Heart, which sounds like the British descendant of a track straight from Drudkh's "Handful of Stars", there is not a wasted note on this beautiful, haunting, glorious piece of work. Well done, gents. Favorite track: Foundations of Ash.

Nulliverse Perhaps Winterfylleth's greatest achievement. No fillers - every song is a classic. Fantastic production. UKBM at it's very best.

Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork. Not for nothing is Mgla considered as a standard for a lot of other blacker-than-black metal bands. I hope to see this band live once..... grote_smurf
